Dr. Yusuf Sarioglu graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Pharmacy in 1973. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, with Masters degree in Department of Medical Pharmacology in 1978 and doctorate in 1982. Dr. Yusuf SARIOĞLU became Associate Professor in the Department of Medical Pharmacology in Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, and later became Professor in 1992. In 1992, he continued his research at Kings College of Medicine, London. Dr. Yusuf Sarioglu was head of Medical Pharmacology departments at Cumhuriyet University and Gazi University. He was also a member of Senate, director of the Institute of Health Sciences, provincial coordinator of Measuring, Selection and Placement Center (OSYM) and open education system at Cumhuriyet University . He was editor of Medical Pharmacology of Journal of Medical Sciences of Turkey and a member of Ministry of Health Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency Original Drug Licensing Commission. He served as a member of the Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Medicine of the University, was a member of the Ethics Committee at the Ankara Numune Hospital and Gazi University Faculty of Medicine. In the International Journals covered by the SCI, he has 725 citations to 96 published research articles (h-index is 15, h-10-index is 29). He also has many articles at national and international conferences. He is currently is a faculty member and Head of Department of Medical Pharmacology at the Faculty of Medicine of İstinye University.
