Burçin Ataseven

Dr. Burçin Ataseven was born in 1980 in İzmir. She graduated from Bornova Anatolian High School in 1998 and Dokuz Eylül University Department of Business Administration (in English) in 2003. She began to work in Celal Bayar University School of Applied Sciences as research assistant. Between 2004-2007, she studied her master degree in the Production Management and Marketing at Celal Bayar University. In 2008 she moved to Istanbul and began to work in Istanbul Kültür University in the Department of Business Administration as research assistant. From 2008 to 2012, she completed her doctorate in Statistics in Marmara University. In 2018 she made her post doctorate in Clinic Psychology Lab in San Diego State University for one year with the scholarship from Tubitak. Her main research interests are data quality, measurement, survey and scale development. She has participated in three international projects as consultor in statistics while having post doctorate in San Diego State University Lab. In addition to her academic studies, she held many administrative positions, including quality coordinator, assistant department director and academic planning unit manager. She is giving lectures in Statistics and Probability, General Mathematics and Biostatistics both in Turkish and English.
