Prof. Dr. Fevziye Figen Kaymaz 1983 yılında TED Ankara Kolejinden mezun oldu. 1990 yılında Gazi Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesini, 1997 yılında Hacettepe Üniversitesinde Histoloji ve Embriyoloji doktora eğitimini tamamladı. Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesinde 2003 yılında doçent, 2010 yılında profesör ünvanını aldı. Halen İstinye Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Histoloji ve Embriyoloji Anabilim Dalı başkanıdır. Çok sayıda uluslararası bilimsel makalesi bulunmaktadır. H indeksi 23 dir. Histoloji ve Embriyoloji Derneği ve Elektron Mikroskopi Derneği üyesidir.
