Tıbbi Biyokimya

Caner Geyik lisans ve yüksek lisans eğitimini Ege Üniversitesi Biyokimya Bölümü'nde tamamladı. Bu dönemde biyosensör tasarımı ve biyokonjugasyon üzerine odaklandı. Yüksek Lisans eğitimi sırasında Kumamoto Üniversitesi'nde (Japonya) misafir araştırmacı olarak çalıştı. Doktora eğitimini Ege Üniversitesi Madde Bağımlılığı, Toksikoloji ve İlaç Bilimleri Enstitüsü'nde tamamladı ve eksitotoksisite üzerine araştırmalar yaptı. Ayrıca doktora tezinin bir bölümü olarak Amerika Birleşik Devletleri National Institute of Mental Health (NIH, NIMH) kurumunda 1 yıl boyunca konuk araştırmacı olarak çalıştı.
