Lisans eğitimini Yeditepe Üniversitesi, İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi Fransızca Siyaset Bilimi ve Uluslararası İlişkiler Bölümü’nde 2013 yılında tamamlayan Can Donduran, yüksek lisansını ise 2014 yılında Toulouse Capitole I Üniversitesi (Fransa), Siyasi Çalışmalar Enstitüsü’nde (L’Institut d’Etudes Politiques) Jeopolitika ve Uluslararası İlişkiler alanında tamamlamıştır. 2021 yılında Galatasaray Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü Uluslararası İlişkiler Programı’ndan doktora derecesini alan Can Donduran, 2017 yılı itibarı ile katıldığı İstinye Üniversitesi Uluslararası İlişkiler Bölümü kadrosunda Doktor Öğretim Üyesi olarak yer almaktadır.
